Dr Bernadette Daelmans
Bernadette Daelmans is a retired staff member of the World Health Organization. A public health physician by training, she has been engaged with a range of issues related to maternal, newborn and child health including infant and young child feeding, integrated management of childhood illness, newborn health and early childhood development. Her work evolved into concerted efforts to strengthen primary health care systems to address health and wellbeing of children and adolescents. Support to parents and other primary caregivers is a key policy and intervention area in this respect. Bernadette is therefore delighted to serve as a member of the PLH expert advisory group.
