Based in South Africa, but from the UK, Fiona is an international consultant and global champion of ECD/nurturing care, parenting support and children’s sector strategy development, programme and policy innovation and design, working with civil society, government, multilateral, donor, private sector, and academic partners. As PLH’s inaugural Chief of Sustainability and a member of the Executive team, Fiona helped to establish PLH’s organisational foundations and culture. She is a seasoned mentor, including for the World Bank’s Early Years Fellowship, and holds an MA in Human Sciences from the University of Cambridge. An advocate of playful parenting, Fiona tries to practise it with two mature children and sometimes succeeds.
