For 37 years, until 2010, Judy Hutchings was an NHS Consultant Clinical Child Psychologist. From 1988 Judy worked at Bangor University as Director of the Centre for Evidence Based Early Intervention where she developed, delivered and evaluated parenting programmes. Judy co-developed the PLH  - Young Children programme and was involved in its delivery and evaluation in South Africa, the Philippines, Thailand and Eastern Europe and has published extensively on parenting, with focus on components of effective delivery and how to embed programmes in services. Judy currently provides support for trainers and coaches through the Global Parenting Initiative.
