Prof Liane Peña Alampay

Prof Liane Peña Alampay is a developmental psychologist and Professor of Psychology at the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. As the lead investigator of Parenting for Lifelong Health programs in the Philippines, she oversees the contextual adaptation, evaluation, and scale-up of parenting interventions, such as Masayang Pamilya (MaPa), that aim to promote positive relationships and prevent child maltreatment among low-income families. She is also the Philippines PI of the Parenting Across Cultures project, a multi-country longitudinal study that investigates how familial, biological, and cultural processes impact child and adolescent development and transitions to adulthood.
