Theodora Kalessi

Theodora Kalessi is a Programming Curator with over a decade of experience in community management and programme design, helping family business leaders and philanthropists maximise their impact. She currently works at Synergos, where she oversees the Global Philanthropists Circle strategy for programmes and global events—driving member engagement, inspiring action, and deepening Synergos’ thought leadership.

Prior to Synergos, Theodora served as Programme Director at the Institute for Family Business, a membership organisation dedicated to supporting multi-generational family businesses across the UK. In this role, she led the design of engaging initiatives that empowered business leaders and their families to be a force for good.

A native of Athens, Greece, Theodora studied photography and philosophy, and holds an MA in Human Rights from University College London. Passionate about mental well-being, she has completed a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training and facilitates community yoga sessions alongside her professional work. When she’s not at work or facilitating restorative yoga classes, she enjoys exploring London’s vibrant art scene.
